What a great web 2.0 tool. Glogster is an extremely free and easy program to use. You can create interactive posters where you have the ability to incorporate movies, music, photos, podcasts, and presentations. The glog pictured has incorporated various media.
I've seen online glogs being used for job descriptions which I thought was creative. Glogs are also a great way to create an online portfolio. I like that you can embed your glog on a wiki or any program that takes embed codes. This article discusses glogs and links to examples.
2010: I am updating this post as now there is Glogster EDU which allows a teacher to have up to 100 student accounts. This allows the teacher to have access to the student's glogs and accounts are setup for each of the students so no email addresses are needed.
